The value for money at Holiday Inn Chester South was excellent - we got a great deal for our stay. The room was well-furnished and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The hotel's location was convenient, with a park and ride nearby that made it easy to travel into the city. The staff were wonderful, attentive, and made our stay as comfortable as possible.

The only downside was that the morning meal could have been better. It would have been nice to have more options than just a grab breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is great, with plenty of places to visit around the area. The room was extremely comfortable, with a bed that was just perfect and a choice of pillows that suited my preference. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was the best I've experienced in a hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The evening meal I had was delicious and I appreciated being able to collect it from the bar, saving on room service tray charges. The breakfast surpassed my expectations, with a variety of options and friendly breakfast staff who were always willing to help.

The location of the hotel is great, with beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The interior walls behind the curtains are well-maintained and clean. In the bathroom, all the walls are in good condition. The service provided by the staff is friendly and accommodating. The manager can often be seen helping out in the restaurant, which is a nice touch. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, with regular towel changes.

The breakfast options could be improved. Some guests mentioned that the fruit wasn't well presented and tasted sour.

During my Xmas stay, I was pleased to receive complimentary festive treats and drinks as a thoughtful touch. The hotel's easy access to the main road and the nearby city center was also a bonus. Additionally, I appreciated the free parking, making it hassle-free to arrive in my own vehicle.

The facilities were not up to scratch. The pool and changing areas were not kept clean.
